A little about me

Hi, I’m Marie! I’m a NYS Licensed Esthetician and artisan.

As you can probably tell from my website, I like to do a little bit of everything :)

I’ve been in the beauty industry for 10 years and have done a little bit of everything from freelance bridal makeup and a makeup blog to working at fancy spas and teaching at a beauty school. Over the years working in the industry I’ve learned that I may, probably, have ADHD (okay yes, I definitely do lol) and a typical 9-5 job was definitely not for me so I began working for myself in 2017. I specialize in eyelash extensions and special occasion makeup. Making my clients feel beautiful is my absolute favorite thing.

In 2020 while my business was shut down due to the pandemic, I fell in love with fiber arts. I started with macrame and a few years later, learned to crochet. I also love to do embroidery and needle-felting! I sell my handmade items online as well as at local artisan markets throughout the year.

A little bit more about me.. I live in Buffalo, NY with my husband Pedro. I'm a big, big coffee lover. I absolutely love to garden, read, journal, play video games and do all the crafty things.

On a more personal note, my husband and I have been dealing with infertility for over 6 years; it has been a heartbreaking and obscenely expensive journey. After finally getting an Endometriosis diagnoses, 4 rounds of IVF retrievals and many losses, we are unfortunately still fighting to become parents. This business has helped me to adjust my schedule depending on medical treatments and my pain levels. We are so beyond grateful for every client and every order received. I am not only able to do what I love and help to pay the bills, but this has very much been my therapy going through all these heartbreaks over the years so I truly can't thank you enough if you've ever been a client or have placed an order with me!
